Orgosolo Supramonte

Tiscali túra

Gorropu-szurdok

Supramonte of Orgosolo

The Supramonte of Orgosolo is one of the best-preserved landscapes in Europe. The excursion leads to Monte San Giovanni (1,316 m), rising solitary in the ancient Montes forest. From the summit, breathtaking views extend across the Gennargentu massif and towards the Marghine-Goceano mountain ranges.

The experience also includes a visit to Orgosolo’s famous murals — powerful witnesses of Sardinia’s recent history — followed by a traditional lunch hosted by local families.

Tiscali Excursion

In the Lanaittu Valley, between Oliena and Dorgali, rises Mount Tiscali — a limestone peak hiding a remarkable archaeological site inside a large karst doline. Within this natural sinkhole lie the remains of a Nuragic-era village.

The excursion begins with a 4×4 transfer to the mountain base, followed by a scenic hike to the doline. A packed lunch featuring local products is enjoyed before returning. On the way back, it is possible to visit the Sa Oche cave and the Su Gologone spring.

Gorropu Gorge

Gorropu Gorge is a massive canyon with walls rising over 400 meters, forming the natural border between the Supramonte of Orgosolo and Urzulei.

After a 6 km off-road transfer by Land Rover, the hike begins with a 30-minute descent through oak and strawberry-tree woodland, reaching the canyon floor carved by the Flumineddu river over millennia. The final section becomes more challenging.

At the end, a typical Sardinian snack is served before returning.

Punta La Marmora – The Roof of Sardinia

At 1,834 meters above sea level, Punta La Marmora is the highest peak in Sardinia. On clear days, the panoramic view stretches across the entire island — from Supramonte and Gennargentu to the Marghine mountains, and even to the distant Seven Brothers in the south.

The ascent organized by Cooperativa Esedra starts from S’Arena refuge (Desulo), with a 4×4 approach followed by a scenic hike to the summit.

Reaching the top truly feels like standing on the roof of Sardinia.

La Maddalena Archipelago

The excursion begins in the small town of Palau, where you board one of the authorized boats for a tour among the islands. You will sail along La Maddalena Island before heading towards the famous “natural pools,” known for their crystal-clear waters and stunning seabeds, where a swimming stop is scheduled.

The navigation continues towards Budelli Island to admire the famous Pink Beach, followed by a stop at Santa Maria Island, where you can relax on the beach or take a walk to the lighthouse. Lunch is served on board. In the afternoon, the excursion includes a stop at Spargi Island for swimming in the picturesque Cala Corsara.

Gulf of Orosei

The tour reaches Cala Gonone (Dorgali area), from where you depart by RIB for a full day in the Gulf of Orosei. An expert local guide will illustrate the hidden coves, sea caves and secrets of the eastern coastline.

During the navigation, you will stop at some of the most beautiful beaches in the gulf, such as Cala Biriola, Cala dei Gabbiani, Cala Mariolu and Cala Luna.

This is undoubtedly one of the most scenic railway experiences in Sardinia. The journey crosses the forests of the island’s highest mountains — the Gennargentu Massif — along part of the historic tourist railway line which, at 159 km, is the longest in Italy and considered one of the most beautiful in Europe.

What immediately stands out along this path is the incredible variety of green shades. The high humidity typical of this part of Sardinia creates ideal conditions for mosses and lichens to thrive, alongside rare endemic species such as Ribes sardoum (Ribes sandalioticum) and Osmunda regalis, the largest fern species in Europe.

On the plateau overlooking the Mularza Noa gorge, the true protagonist is the yew tree (Taxus baccata), now a rather rare species in Sardinia.

The trail continues down to the waterfall known as S’Istrampu de Mularza Noa, where the sound of cascading water becomes particularly powerful during the rainy season.

The route is relatively easy and especially suitable for school groups and nature enthusiasts.

Shortly after, the nature excursion begins through an extensive and unique natural heritage landscape.

We follow forest trails before climbing towards the Nuraghe Ascusa, a single-tower nuraghe hidden within dense vegetation.

Continuing along the “Intro” and “Monte” trails, we reach Sant’Antonio Park, where the fairy-tale atmosphere of the woodland awaits. The park includes a well-equipped picnic area, allowing time to enjoy a packed lunch before heading back along the trail to the starting point.

Geologically shaped by grey tuff and the distinctive red trachyte rock, the coastline appears rugged and dramatic — an ideal nesting area for the griffon vulture, the magnificent bird of prey that reigns exclusively in this region.

We reach Managu Beach via a scenic and accessible country track. From there, crossing dense Mediterranean scrub dominated by broom, euphorbia and wild olive trees, we arrive at a promontory overlooking the beautiful Cala Fenuggiu.

After the hike, there is the opportunity to enjoy a swim at the stunning Managu Beach.

During the walk, you’ll cross a landscape rich in historical, cultural and environmental heritage of significant community value. Your gaze will stretch across the mountains of the Gennargentu range and the plains of Abbasanta, reaching as far as the hills of Villacidro and Montiferru.

In spring, you can admire the striking blooms of purple foxglove — a plant known for its medicinal properties — as well as wild orchids. In summer, the countryside transforms into fields of bright yellow helichrysum flowers.

A fakókeselyű az egyetlen olyan keselyűfaj, amely az eredetileg Szardínián élő fajok közül napjainkig fennmaradt. A szardíniai állomány jelenleg főként Bosa térségében és a környező területeken koncentrálódik, becslések szerint 242–270 egyedből áll, ebből mintegy 60 költőpár.

Itt kezdődik a madármegfigyelés: lehetőség nyílik megfigyelni, ahogy a fakókeselyűk a felszálló meleg légáramlatokat kihasználva méltóságteljesen siklanak a levegőben, miközben hatalmas területeket pásztáznak táplálék után kutatva.

A program során gyönyörű kilátás nyílik a nyugati tengerpartra, Capo Caccia (Alghero) sziklás partvidékétől egészen a Sinis-félszigetig és Mal di Ventre szigetéig.

The griffon vulture is the only vulture species originally native to Sardinia that has survived to this day. The entire Sardinian population is currently concentrated mainly in the Bosa area and nearby territories, with an estimated 242–270 individuals, including around 60 breeding pairs.

These impressive birds, weighing between 6.5 and 12 kg, have a wingspan that can reach nearly 3 metres.

The excursion begins in Bosa with a 4×4 vehicle ride to a natural panoramic viewpoint on top of the plateau. From there, the birdwatching experience starts: you’ll have the chance to observe griffon vultures as they ride the rising thermal currents, soaring gracefully while scanning vast open landscapes in search of food.

The experience also offers breathtaking views over the western coastline, stretching from Capo Caccia in Alghero to the Sinis Peninsula and the island of Mal di Ventre.

The excursion is very easy and suitable for everyone. Transfers to the observation point are by Land Rover, accompanied by a qualified nature guide. Binoculars are provided to help you observe the birds more closely.

Az útiterv része a sindiai Corte-i Miasszonyunk ciszterci apátság meglátogatása, amelyet 1147-ben a franciaországi Clairvaux-ból érkezett ciszterci szerzetesek építettek.
A kirándulás ezután a Santa Sabina régészeti komplexumhoz vezet, amely magában foglal egy kis román kori templomot — Szardíniában egyedülálló módon — egy nurágikus falu maradványaira építve, valamint egy szép állapotban fennmaradt egységes tornyú nurágét.

Az excursio a silanusi San Lorenzo-templom meglátogatásával zárul. Bár építésének pontos dátumára vonatkozó írásos források eddig nem kerültek elő, formai jegyei alapján kapcsolatba hozható a Santa Maria di Corte apátság környékén a 12. század közepén tevékenykedő ciszterci mesterekkel.

Ellátogatunk Nuoróba, amely gyönyörű múzeumainak ad otthont, és 1926 óta az azonos nevű tartomány székhelye, majd Orgosolóba, amely kétségkívül a térség egyik legismertebb települése.
Orgosolo jelentős turisztikai célponttá vált különleges muráléinak köszönhetően, amelyek a szardíniai és az egyetemes történelem kézzelfogható és egyedi tanúi, a Supramonte lenyűgöző hegyvidéki tájának hátterében.

Az útiterv része Mamoiada kisvárosa is, amely híres hagyományos farsangi maszkjairól — a Mamuthonesről és az Issohadoresről —, Szardínia kultúrájának ikonikus jelképeiről.

A látogatót egy távoli korszakba repíti vissza, amikor az idő múlását az évszakok váltakozása és az ezekhez kapcsolódó munkák határozták meg, lehetőséget adva történelmünk fontos elemeinek újrafelfedezésére, valamint a mindennapi, egyszerű gesztusok ősi értékének visszanyerésére — a kultúra, a művészet és a folklór igazi örökségére.

Minden irányból könnyen megközelíthető Macomer főutcáján keresztül: Corso Umberto I, 225. szám.

Megközelítés

Cagliari felől érkezve a SS 131-es főúton kell haladni, majd a 145. kilométernél, a jobb oldalon található a műemlék parkolója, jól látható útjelző táblával.

Sassari vagy Bosa irányából érkezőknek ajánlott először Macomerbe behajtani, majd a SP 129-es úton Nuoro felé haladni. Ezután újra csatlakozni kell a SS 131-es főútra Sassari irányába, egészen a 145. kilométerig, ahol a parkoló található.

A parkolótól körülbelül 10–15 perces gyalogos séta vezet a lelőhelyhez egy vidéki ösvényen keresztül.

Nevét az azonos nevű, Kr. e. 3. évezredre datálható kultúráról kapta, amely Szardínián elsőként foglalkozott a fémmegmunkálással.

Megközelítés

Bosa vagy Sassari irányából érkezve a lelőhely a S.P. 129 bis úton, Macomer kórháza közelében, a város északi bejáratától mintegy 1 km-re, bal oldalon található.

Megközelítés

Macomerből a Santu Lussurgiu felé vezető S.P. 43-as úton kell haladni. Körülbelül 6 km után jobbra kell kanyarodni a Monte di Sant’Antonio turisztikai terület irányába. Az úton további 900 métert haladva ismét jobbra kell fordulni, majd még 2 km megtétele után bal oldalon található az archeológiai terület parkolója.

A Tamuli régészeti helyszín látogatása során lehetőség nyílik a terület és az Óriások sírjai előtt egykor végzett rituálék 3D-s rekonstrukciójának megtekintésére virtuális valóság szemüvegek segítségével.

The itinerary includes a visit to the Cistercian Abbey of Our Lady of Corte in Sindia, built in 1147 by Cistercian monks from Clairvaux (France).
The tour then continues to the archaeological complex of Santa Sabina, which includes a small Romanesque church — unique in Sardinia — built over the remains of a Nuragic village, as well as a well-preserved single-tower nuraghe.

The excursion concludes with a visit to the Church of San Lorenzo in Silanus. Although no documentary evidence has yet been found regarding its date of construction, its architectural features suggest a connection with the Cistercian craftsmen active at the Abbey of Santa Maria di Corte around the mid-12th century.

We will visit Nuoro, home to beautiful museums and capital of the province since 1926, followed by Orgosolo, undoubtedly one of the most famous villages in the area.
Orgosolo has become an important tourist destination thanks to its distinctive murals, unique and tangible expressions of Sardinian and international history, set against the spectacular landscape of the Supramonte mountains.

The itinerary also includes a visit to the small town of Mamoiada, renowned for its traditional Carnival masks — the Mamuthones and Issohadores — among the most iconic symbols of Sardinian culture.

Projecting visitors back to a distant time, when the passing of hours was marked by the rhythm of the seasons and the work connected to them, allowing them to rediscover aspects of our history and recover the ancient value of simple daily gestures — a true heritage of culture, art and folklore.

How to get there

Coming from Cagliari, travel along State Road SS 131 and, at kilometre 145, you will find a rest area for the monument on the right-hand side, clearly marked with a sign.

If arriving from Sassari or Bosa, it is recommended to enter Macomer first, then continue along Provincial Road SP 129 towards Nuoro. From there, rejoin State Road SS 131 in the direction of Sassari and proceed to kilometre 145, where the parking area providing access to the monument is located.

From the parking area, continue on foot for approximately 10–15 minutes along a countryside path leading to the site.

It gave its name to the homonymous culture of the 3rd millennium BC, the first in Sardinia to develop metalworking.

Coming from Bosa or Sassari, the site is located on the left side of Provincial Road S.P. 129 bis, near the Macomer hospital, about 1 km from the northern entrance to the town.

How to get there

From Macomer, take Provincial Road S.P. 43 towards Santu Lussurgiu. After approximately 6 km, turn right towards the Monte di Sant’Antonio tourist area. Continue along this road for about 900 meters, then turn right again and proceed for another 2 km. The archaeological site parking area will be found on the left.

Escursione nel Supramonte di Orgosolo

Il supramonte di Orgosolo è tra i territori meglio conservati d’Europa. L’escursione porta a conoscere il Monte S. Giovanni a 1316 mt di altezza che si erge isolato nel mezzo della foresta millenaria di Montes, da dove si può ammirare un paesaggio mozzafiato, che spazia per tutto il Gennargentu fino ad arrivare alle più lontane catene del Marghine-Goceano. Una tappa obbligatoria è la visita ai murales del paese, testimoni del recente passato del popolo sardo. L’escursione prevede il pranzo tipico offerto dagli amici di Orgosolo.

Escursione a Tiscali

In mezzo alla valle di Lanaittu, là dove finisce il territorio di Oliena e inizia quello Dorgalese, si erge monte Tiscali, un piccolo rilievo calcareo, dominato dal massiccio del Corrasi, caratterizzato alla sommità da una depressione di natura carsica. All’interno della dolina tra una vegetazione di straordinaria importanza, sono conservati i resti di un villaggio, edificato probabilmente in periodo tardo nuragico. Si attraversa la valle con i fuoristrada fino alla base del monte per poi proseguire a piedi lungo un panoramico sentiero che porta fino alla dolina. Si consuma il pasto al sacco a base di prodotti locali per poi scendere lungo lo stesso sentiero. Al rientro è possibile visitare la grotta si Sa Oche e la risorgiva de Su Gologone.

Escursione alla gola di Gorropu

Gorropu è un enorme gola le cui pareti superano i 400 mt di altezza, confine naturale tra il Supramonte di Orgosolo e quello di Urzulei, viene definito il canyon più alto d’Europa. L’escursione a piedi inizia dopo i 6 km circa di strada sterrata da effetuare in Land Rover, si scende lungo un sentiero (30 minuti circa) attraversando un fitto boschetto di lecci e corbezzoli per poi raggiungere l’inizio della gola, da qui si percorre l’alveo abbandonato del Flumineddu che nel corso dei millenni ha scavato il canyon. L’escursione aumenta di difficoltà nel tratto finale della gola. Dopo aver visitato la gola si ritorna al fuoristrada dopo una salita di 45 minuti circa, al termine della quale si consumerà uno spuntino a base di prodotti tipici.

Escursione a Punta Lamarmora

Punta La Marmora, si trova i territorio di Arzana a 1834 m. s.l.m.; è la vetta più alta della Sardegna. Una volta in cima si può godere, qualora la giornata lo permetta, di una vista spettacolare, si può dire di stare sul tetto dell’isola e di avere tutto sotto i propri piedi. La vista spazia dalle vicine vallate di Girgini al tacco maestoso di Perda Liana, dal Supramonte alla catena del Marghine e del Goceano, ma si potranno scorgere in lontananza anche i Sette Fratelli nell’estremo Sud e i monti del Limbara a Nord. L’ascesa può avvenire da più versanti: Fonni, Desulo, Arzana o Villagrande. 
Quello scelto dalla Cooperativa Esedra parte dal rifugio di S’Arena, in territorio di Desulo, proseguendo in fuoristrada lungo la carrareccia si raggiunge l’inizio del sentiero, inizalmente in salita (30 minuti circa), per poi proseguire lungo il fianco della montagna in un facile saliscendi fino a S’arcu ‘e Gennargentu ( 60 minuti circa). Da qui inizia la parte più dura della salita verso Perdas Crapias, antico nome di Punta La Marmora, (dai 40 ai 60 minuti circa), ma la fatica viene del tutto ripagata una volta in cima alla…Sardegna!!!

Arcipelago De La Maddalena

Si raggiunge il piccolo centro di Palau e ci si imbarca in una delle motonavi autorizzate per l’escursione fra le isole. Si costeggia l’isola madre, La Maddalena, per puntare poi la rotta verso lo specchio di mare soprannominato “le piscine naturali” per le acque cristalline e i meravigliosi fondali, dove è prevista una breve sosta per la balneazione. La navigazione prosegue poi verso l’isola di Budelli per ammirare la famosa “Spiaggia Rosa” per giungere all’isola di Santa Maria, dove è possibile sostare nella spiaggia o fare una piacevole passeggiata verso il faro. Pranzo a bordo della barca. Nel pomeriggio sosta presso l’isola di Spargi dove è possibile fare il bagno nella suggestiva Cala Corsara.

Golfo di Orosei

Si raggiunge la località turistica di Cala Gonone in territorio di Dorgali. Da qui si parte in gommone per trascorrere una bellissima giornata nel Golfo di Orosei. La nostra guida, oltre ad essere esperta della navigazione, sarà in grado di illustrare le insenature, le grotte e i vari segreti della costa orientale. Durante la navigazione costeggieremo le varie calette del golfo con  la sosta nelle splendide spiagge di Cala Biriola, Cala dei Gabbiani o Cala Mariolu, Cala Luna.

Durante l’escursione sarà possibile decidere se effettuare la visita la Grotte del Bue Marino o alla grotta del Fico. (Biglietto d’ingresso escluso).

 Visiteremo Nuoro con i suoi bellissimi musei, capoluogo dell’omonima provincia dal 1926, Orgosolo, sicuramente fra i paesi più famosi della zona, diventato importante meta turistica per la presenza dei singolari Murales testimonianze uniche e tangibili della storia sarda e non, sullo sfondo dello spettacolare paesaggio del Supramonte. Così come è meritevole di una visita il piccolo centro di Mamoiada, famoso per le sue pittoresche maschere carnevalesche: i Mamuthones e gli Issohadores.

E’ senza dubbio una delle escursioni più suggestive che ci portano ad attraversare i boschi delle montagne più alte dell’isola, quelle del Massiccio del Gennargentu percorrendo una parte della linea ferroviaria turistica che con i suoi 159 km è la più lunga d’Italia e, non a torto, definita una delle più belle d’Europa.  Raggiunta la stazione che Sadali , l’escursione proseguirà con la visita guidata delle grotte carsiche di Is Janas (Le Fate), Le grotte, che racchiudono una lunghezza di circa 300 metri, sono ricche di concrezioni di stalattiti e stalagmiti dalle forme uniche e originarie,con una fauna cavernicola unica nel suo genere.

 L’escursione ci farà trascorrere momenti meravigliosi in una delle più belle spiagge di Stintino. Proseguendo  per Alghero,  rimarrete affascinati dall’imponenza dei suoi bastioni, eretti in età medievale come protezione alla città, dal pittoresco centro storico e dalla bellezza dei suoi tesori artistici e architettonici. Alghero, infatti, vanta un glorioso passato come l’unica città catalana in Sardegna, caratteristica che mantiene ancora oggi nel suo dialetto, nelle sue tradizioni e nella sua cucina.

 Percorrendo l’unica strada presente sull’isola sarà possibile visitare i “luoghi storici” dell’Asinara, come la rada di Fornelli,  la stazione sanitaria di Cala Reale e i “periodi” per la quarantena e il piccolo villaggio di Cala d’Oliva. Notevoli anche le bellezze ambientali e paesaggistiche che si incontreranno lungo il percorso, come ad esempio Cala sant’Andrea, gli isolotti di Cala di Sgombro.

 A passo lento sulle strette rotaie, caratterizzate da opere architettoniche e ingegneristiche, come ponti  e gallerie, immersi nella natura della macchia mediterranea, tra vigneti, querce, ulivi, lentischi, mirti e asfodeli, con il viaggio in trenino potrete scoprire la bontà dei prodotti locali, i segreti del famoso vino Malvasia di Bosa, le meraviglie artistiche dei piccoli borghi e i misteri che ancora si celano nell’antica Abbazia medievale di Santa Maria di Corte.

L’escursione è facile e adatta a tutti, e può prevedere la partenza sia da Macomer che da Bosa Marina.

Con una navigazione di circa un’ora durante la quale è possibile percepire la magia del passato di questo antico borgo medievale. Si attraverserà tutta la città, il quartiere artigianale delle antiche concerie, il ponte vecchio in trachite costruito nel 1872, per giungere nei luoghi dove sorgeva la città romana di Bosa Vetus e l’antica cattedrale dedicata a S.Pietro apostolo.

L’escursione è facilissima, quindi adatta a tutti.

 L’esperienza per il Golfo, regno dell’avvoltoio grifone, parte da Bosa per giungere fino al promontorio di Capo Marrargiu, noto in antichità come il Colle di Mercurio (Ermaeum akron), rifugio sicuro per gli antichi navigatori. Luoghi costieri perfetti per straordinari bagni rilassanti e rigeneranti nel mare smeraldino, e per praticare loo snorkeling. Divertimento assicurato da condividere con gli amici e la famiglia.

L’escursione è facilissima, quindi adatta a tutti.

 Alla sommità dell’altura si trova la piccola chiesa campestre dedicata a Sant’Antonio da Padova.

Il Programma prevede:

Ore 09:00 incontro  dei partecipanti presso il polo fieristico in località Monte sant’Antonio con le guide ambientali escursionistiche. Subito dopo, inizio dell’escursione naturalistica attraversi un immenso patrimonio naturale che lo rende unico nel suo genere. Lungo il sentiero camminiamo a vista dentro il bosco, fino ad inerpicarci ai piedi del Nuraghe Ascusa, un esempio di nuraghe monotorre nascosto nella fitta vegetazione.

Ripreso il cammino “Intro” e “Monte”, raggiungiamo il parco di Sant’Antonio, per rimanere sorpresi e meravigliati dall’atmosfera fiabesca del bosco, attrezzato di una comoda area picnic, che ci permette di consumare il pranzo al sacco prima di riprendere il cammino per rientrare alle macchine.

Il costo comprende, la guida ambientale escursionistica iscritta all’albo a disposizione tutto il giorno, escursione a piedi nel bosco lungo il sentiero “Intro” e “Monte”, Tagliere a base di prodotti locali, assicurazione.

 Quello che più ci sorprende in questo tratto del sentiero sono le varietà di verde, che risultano essere tantissime. Il tasso di umidità che si riscontra in questa parte della Sardegna è altissimo, e fà si che i più comuni tra muschi e licheni, si associno ai più importanti endemismi di questo biotopo come il Ribes Sandalioticum o l’Osmunda Regalis, ossia la felce di maggiori dimensioni fra quelle presenti in Europa. Nel pianoro che domina la forra di Mularza Noa il principale protagonista è senza dubbio il Tasso (Taxus baccata), una specie diventata piuttosto rara in Sardegna. Il sentiero ci porta fin sotto la cascata (s’istrampu de Mularza Noa) dove lo scroscio dell’acqua si fa decisamente più impetuoso sopratutto nel periodo delle piogge. Il sentiero è piuttosto facile, adatto soprattutto alle scolaresche e agli appassionati di natura.

 La costa formata geologicamente da tufi grigi e dalla più conosciuta trachite rossa, rende questo paesaggio aspro e inaccessibile, luogo ideale per la nidificazione dell’avvoltoio grifone, splendido rapace che regna esclusivamente in questi areali.
Raggiungiamo la spiaggia di Managu attraverso una carrareccia agevole e panoramica.  Attraversando la fitta macchia mediterranea costituita in prevalenza da ginestre, euforbie e alberi di olivastro, raggiungiamo lo sperone che domina la splendida Cala Fenuggiu.
Al rientro dall’escursione possibilità di balneazione presso la splendida spiaggia di Managu.

Il Visitatore  attraverso questo itinerario ha la possibilità di vivere una esperienza di visita unica, coniugando la possibilità di immergersi nell´arte, nella cultura e nella natura della piccola città della Planargia. Un trekking urbano alla riscoperta del cuore di Bosa è un’occasione per conoscere a fondo la storia della pittoresca cittadina della Planargia attraverso leggende, aneddoti e racconti. Nelle vie strette di Sa Costa racconteremo le vicende storiche che hanno segnato la vita  della città del Temo, visitando alcuni dei monumenti–simbolo della città: la Cattedrale Santa Maria, il Castello Malaspina, le antiche Concerie, ecc.

Passeggiando per i vicoli del centro storico coglieremo le innumerevoli sfumature del colaratissimo quartiere di Sa Costa, con le sue case verticali o la lunghissima S’Iscala ‘e Sa Rosa,  Infine percorreremo le vie animate del Corso Vittorio Emanuele e del Lungo Temo.

Le visite guidate saranno condotte da guide turistiche iscritte all’albo professionale della Regione Sardegna e si potranno svolgere in: italiano, inglese, francese, spagnolo, disponibilità radioguida, assicurazione, navigazione sul fiume Temo.  L’itinerario è adatto a tutti e non è richiesto alcun equipaggiamento particolare, è sufficiente  indossare delle calzature comode.

 Il grifone è l’unico avvoltoio tra quelli originariamente presenti in Sardegna ad essere sopravvissuto. Attualmente tutta la popolazione sarda è concentrata principalmente nel Bosano e nelle aree contigue, con un censimento tra circa 242/270  esemplari, dei quali 60 coppie nidificanti.

Questi splendidi avvoltoi, il cui peso varia dai 6,5 fino ai 12 Kg,  sono dotati di un apertura alare che sfiora i 3 metri.

Partiti da Bosa in fuoristrada e raggiunto un balcone naturale in cima all’altipiano inizia l’attività di birdwatching, è infatti possibile osservare i grifoni  mentre sfruttano le correnti termiche ascensionali che gli permettono di controllare spazi vasti e aperti sempre alla ricerca di cibo.

L’escursione offre inoltre al visitatore la possibilità di godere di un magnifico paesaggio sul mare della costa occidentale da Capo Caccia di Alghero fino alla penisola del Sinis e all’isola Maldiventre.

L’escursione è facilissima, quindi adatta a tutti: prevede infatti gli spostamenti in fuoristrada Land Rover  fino al punto di osservazione, guida escursionistica naturalistica. Inoltre  mettiamo a disposizione dei propri clienti i binocoli per facilitare l’osservazione dei rapaci.

Visiteremo Nuoro con i suoi bellissimi musei, capoluogo dell’omonima provincia dal 1926, Orgosolo, sicuramente fra i paesi più famosi della zona, diventato importante meta turistica per la presenza dei singolari Murales testimonianze uniche e tangibili della storia sarda e non, sullo sfondo dello spettacolare paesaggio del Supramonte. Così come è meritevole di una visita il piccolo centro di Mamoiada, famoso per le sue pittoresche maschere carnevalesche: i Mamuthones e gli Issohadores.

L’itinerario comprende la visita all’Abazzia Cistercense di N.S. di Corte Sindia edificata nel 1147 ad opera di Monaci Cistercensi provenienti da Clairvaux (Francia); si prosegue per il complesso archeologico di Santa Sabina, che comprende oltre alla piccola chiesa Romanica, unica nel suo genere in Sardegna, edificata sopra i resti di un villaggio nuragico,  il bel nuraghe monotorre. La nostra escursione si conclude con la visita alla chiesa di San Lorenzo di Silanus, della quale non sono state finora rintracciate attestazioni documentarie sulla data di erezione, ma che per via dei suoi caratteri formali rimanda alle maestranze cistercensi attive nell’abbazia di Santa Maria di Corte attorno alla metà del XII secolo.

proiettando il visitatore in un tempo lomntano, quando il trascorrere delle ore era scandito dall’incalzare delle stagioni e ai lavori ad esse legati, e permettendogli di riscoprire aspetti e caratteristiche delle nostra storia e di recuperare quell’antico valore dei gesti quotidiani più semplici, patrimonio di cultura arte e folklore.

Come arrivare: da tutte le direzioni, via principale di Macomer: Corso Umberto I n.225

Arrivandi da Cagliari, lungo la SS 131 all’altezza del KM 145, sulla  destra è presente l’area di sosta del monumento (cartello indicatore). Arrivando da Sassari/Bosa è preferibile entrare a Macomer e poi proseguire la SP129 direzione Nuoro e poi riprendere la SS 131 direzione Sassari fino al KM 145 dove si trova l’area parcheggio per accedere al monumento. Da qui si prosegue a piedi per circa 10- 15 minuti lungo un percorso campestre che conduce al sito.

Ha dato il nome all’omonima cultura del III millennio a.C.; la prima a dedicarsi alla lavorazione dei metalli in Sardegna.

Come arrivare: Arrivando da Bosa/Sassari il sito si trova sulla sinistra, sulla S.P. 129 bis, all’altezza dell’ospedale di Macomer, a circa 1 KM dall’ingresso nord della città.

Inoltre offre la possibilità di vivere un’esperienza immersiva con visori che riproducono in 3D la tomba di giganti con i betili ed  i riti funerari che gli antenati vi praticavano. L’area dispone, inoltre, di un piccolo punto ristoro, servizi igienici e book shop. Il sito è dotato di un percorso per ipovedenti e non vedenti.

Come arrivare: da Macomer si prende la S.P. 43 per Santu Lussurgiu e dopo circa 6 KM si svolta a destra per la zona turistica Monte di S. Antonio. Si prosegue lungo questa strada per circa 900 m, si svolta a destra e si percorrono ancora 2KM trovando sulla sinistra il parcheggio dell’area archeologica.

Orari: Aperto tutti i giorni  dalle 9:30 fino a trenta minuti prima del tramonto.

Durante la visita del sito di Tamuli sarà possibile sperimentare la costruzione in 3D del sito archeologico e dei rituali praticati davanti alle tombe dei giganti attraverso i visori di realtà virtuale.

Percorreremo un territorio ricco di testimonianze storiche, culturali e ambientali di grande interesse comunitario, e lo sguardo si perderà incessantemente sulle montagne del Gennargentu e la piana sottostante di Abbasanta per finire sulle montagne del Villacidrese e del Montiferru. Dove in primavera è possibile ammirare le splendide infiorescenza della digitale purpurea, pianta interessantissima per le sue proprietà farmacologiche, e le fioriture delle orchidee selvatiche, e d’estate le praterie di elicriso con le sue spettacolari fioriture gialle.
